Rear Bumperettes
Everyone,
If anyone has a 993 with scratched or gouged up rear bumperettes, send me an email and I'll be glad to send you the set off of my 97 C2.

David,
I removed the front and rear bumperettes and the body shop has just completed the patch and paint process to the front and rear bumper covers. New from lights from Gert, etc.
Looks fantastic. What a difference in the front and rear looks of the car. I will post pics after I get it back in the hangar and the lights installed.

Mike,
Very generous offer that I am sure someone will be very grateful for. Now you have the Euro look I am sure you will understand if I do not take you up on the offer!
No offence to anyones bumperettes by the way!
Post some pictures soon.

Flying Finn: The body shop epoxied a special mat in behind the holes and then built up the area. They patch big holes and gouges in bumper covers all the time like this. Really came out smooth - you can't tell holes were ever there.
Tim: It took me a minute to get the joke. Yeah, you're already "Euro".
GTR 993: I sent you an email. Need your shipping address.
Todd: The front bumperettes are on the way.. Not sure what your question is "Got have Piper?" Your typing arm must be frozen. My airplane is a 1987 Beech Bonanza A36, if that's your question. If you're a pilot you know that the Bonanza is as sweet a ride as the 993....

My weight (well, not MY weight although few pounds I could lose from myself also...) is slowly, but surely going downhill.
Trunk carpet saved whopping 5 pounds! And I'm sure those sun visors will shave down the weight maybe even 2! Next on the list are sound deadenings, then...
You could start with that 25 lbs of cigarsmokin'fatboyoldfart time piece of yours (I'm actually thinking of getting an GMT, that black/stainless looks quite nice... )

I think next week, I am having the rear bumperettes removed. I have also thought about removing all the Paint! I,m just not too sure if I could deal with a silver car

Todd,
You're welcome. Thanks for the compliment on N7257W. Just got back from taking the 993 back to the hangar. Sure does look nice w/o the bumperettes...
