Default Experience setting up KW V3 and PSS10, height adjustability

I have a specific question that I have not seen addressed in my searched.

I am curious to hear from folks that have experience with both KW V3s and PSS10s and height adjustability. Is the height adjustability basically the same? Do KWs adjust lower than PSS10s?

Thanks

Cant comment on PSS10s but my KW V3's are adjusted so I can barely fit my finger between the fender/tire and there's about 2" of threads available below the spring perch.

You can adjust them both enough to where the rocker panels will touch the ground.

Just reviving this thread as I'm shopping PSS10 and KW v3. Swaying to KW is that they are more readily available than PSS10 for the foreseeable. PSS10 are not available until mid May earliest for those looking, North America wide.

I'm able to find many threads where people are concerned about height adjustability not being as flexible as PSS10. This thread seems to state otherwise.

I would just be looking to close the fender gap between tire and fender, not slam the car or tuck the tire behind the fender.

Any thoughts?

Either kit will get your car to ROW ride height +/- 20mm, so you are good to go with either
Either will make your ride height WAY too high if you choose.

My comment above still stands.

This is with PSS10s all the way down on 18" BBS E88s. Of note, PSS10s do not go quite as low in the front as PSS9s. PSS9s have some more thread in the front. FVD makes a kit to go even lower in front. The rear gets very low. Probably near RSR height but I have not measured.

I am installing BBi uprights in front which adjust the mounting position of the coilovers slightly and will give a little more adjustability. I also have a set of 993 SuperCup coilovers that I am going to try out.

Bottom line I am happy with the PSS10s....even threaded all the way down. Of note, you need RS sways and links in back to go this low.

That should be good enough for my needs.

Thanks, PSS10 was a natural choice as I have Bilstein coilovers on my 997.2 and happy with those also seems widely enjoyed on 993. I would be looking to sit a little higher than yours, looks great with those E88. I'll probably roll with twists for a while, like those then perhaps some LMs.

PSS10 are not available in North America and Bilstein USA told me yesterday they are not expected until mid May and the date has already been pushed numerous times. Sounds like KW v3 might be better in some ways but definitely not an issue for what I want to achieve, little pricier though but available in 8-10 weeks.
