Best aftermarket aero parts?

The RS sideskirts cannot be reproduced because they are injection molded from ABS plastic. Making a mold like this is very expensive for an aftermarket company with low volume. Almost all aftermarket parts are hand-laid fiberglass or carbon fiber in hand-made patterns.
Isn't the RS factory tail made of urethane plastic? If so it would be heavier than a carbon fiber repro. Thus there is still a good reason to go repro on this item.

Martin,
where do you see the full RS kit on Gert's website? Or do you have other means for pricing?
JC,
I new about the moulding but didn't want to get to that detail. My point was more that these guys (I would hope) know when it's cheaper to sell OEM or cheaper to make copies?

Ahh, but these are not the RSR that FF (I think) and I are speaking of. Or at least the Supercup perhaps is the correct description of them? So now I'm confused as to which is which? Admittedly, my experience is from Australia with the RSCS or RS Club Sport. The front spoiler is the GT2 style while the rear wing is the big puppy, with the 2 air in-takes and the carbon adjustable blade across the top. I will post some pics this weekend for FF.

I'm referring to the RS (rennsport) kit.
RSR I mean is the old 'beast', but 993 RS w/out sideskirts would (IMO) look little like -74 RSR (or at least what I think it is) that I so much like (& I'm planning to make my older 911 to look like).
Just for clarification, here are couple of pictures:
Here's '911 RSR' look the I like (fellow Rennlister, R.Santore's car):
And here is 993 RS:
Sweet!

Yikes. I think you're all confused here. The 993 RS is primarily a street car, and the "RS" aerokit is shown on the red car above. The 993 RS Clubsport is similar but the splitter is more aggresive and the rear wing has the inlets on the side and the blade. The 993 RSR is a further evolution strictly for racing in the Porsche Cup series and other series. The wings on the RSR were varied usually with high extensions.

I don't think there's confusion...
RSR I'm referring is the old (1974) 911 RSR (like in the photo) in this case, not 993 RSR.

I think as JC mentioned, the kit I had fitted was the RS Clubsport (which is consistant with Australian RSCS cars). It has the GT2 style front spoiler, much like on the red car, the same side skirts (as the red car above) and the more aggressive rear wing. I wish I could post those pics but I sent it back to spray the carbon blade and have my front vents filled with a silver metal vent/grill. I hope to pick up tonight and will make an effort to take photos in the morning (light). I have also heard the wing referred to as the SuperCup, just to confuse the issue more.
Dylan.
Here we go, this is the wing I have had fitted (and FF, the finished quality was good in my fussy opinion)

FF,
finally pulled my finger out!! Got some pics, which took a little longer because I send the car back for some minor changes i.e. I had the silver grills installed in the front bumper and rear wing (top grill).
If you follow the link below, you will see some digital pics. They don't do justice due to the light being overhead and therefore shadows over the car. I had to adjust the brightness and contrast so that you could see the lines. One side note, I had the Turbo bumper so the front wing was fabricated to fit over this as one complete unit.

Next, those wheels!!!

Dylan wrote, "Next, those wheels!!!" I am not so certain on the 993RSCS wheels. They are heavy compared to Kinesis or Fikse. If you want to prepare a 993RS clone...the 993RS wheels are required.
Me, I want light weight wheels, something better than stock. I have the 993RS skirts installed...awesome!
The 993RS chin spoilers and tail are next for me. Although Gert says the tail is not a fibreglass, can it be polyurethane?

Hey Martin,
I agree, I'm looking for a lighter wheel also. I just meant that those wheels had to go, not that I would be looking for the RS wheel. I'm doing it for asthetic reasons, I like the look. And if it helps me on the track, bonus!!
The wing and spolier I have are copies, therefore they are glass.
BTW, (I've searched but without success) does anyone know what size wheel spacers can be put on a '95 993 with H&R springs and a mild fender roll to give it a wider stance without rubbing? And, depending on those spacers, is there a need for longer studs and/or replacement of the alloy nuts?
Thanks,
Dylan.

Looks great Dylan!
And yes, those wheels don't fit w/ the wings...
Why you're looking for spacers? If you get new wheels you can get them with more aggressive ET so that you'll get wider stance.
Do you know if that that wing will cover 'baskethandle' holes ?
