Kim - Is that pedal from Gert ? Seriously though, it looks like it would make heel/toeing a breeze - nice layout...

You mean turn downs with baffles right??? With headers, you may be a touch too loud. That would be a drag if the you could not run at the track 5 minutes from your house...

I have driven a few times at Laguna in a rented Spec Miata. This year, I had my S4 out there for some suspension work by StaSis. Both were great fun, as Laguna is an amazing track. How much is it for a DE weekend with the person you use, if I may ask. If you would rather, please feel free to PM me.
Thanks.

Chuck

Argo1

I have an extra pedal. I purchased it for my 86 911. If you can confirm
that it will fit a 993, I would sell it for 75.00 or whatever...

Kim - thanks for the info. Are the motors in the Miata you rent pretty much stock ? I ask because I was running my track car at a COCOA event where they only allow Ford powered cars. There were a few guys with Miata's that had Ford 302's in them stroked out to 347 with close to 500hp. I drove one and was pretty impressed - loooooots of hp and not very forgiving but damn fun.

993944S2 - If all goes as planned I will have my C4S next week and will check on pedal fitment for a 993. Thanks for the offer and I'll be in touch via PM.

Chuck,
Kim is running with Tracquest ( link can be found in the 'Rennlist sponsor' meu to the left). Its $450/day, I believe. I just ran with a much more basic group, Speed Ventures and it was $265. The difference is that I was sharing the track with two dozen S2000's, while Kim will be running with somewhat more exotic stuff. And he'll have a great lunch.

That's pretty much both ends of the price/sophistication spectrum.

Laguna is a truly awesome track. I've only run there twice, but it is by far my favorite track. However, my experience is limited to LS, Thunderhill, Portland Intl, and Seattle.

Don,

I had my Wings pedal on my '85 Carrera, too, and it fits just fine on my 993.

What is a good time in an SM at Laguna?
It is a tough track with so many uphill straights following turns.
