Default Please help with wheel choice

I hesitated to write this post, but I've been hemming and hawing over these three different wheel choices for quite some time. The cost is significant enough that I really don't want to regret the choice later... I would very much appreciate anyone's thoughts on the options below. They would be going on a black Targa. THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!

Honestly, for the everyday guy like me, it's so hard to tell between 1 and 2. Maybe 2 has deeper lips? Both beautiful bty.

Not a fan of the last pic. Just not my style.

Do you have better pics, or more comparable pics on pic 1 and 2?

Those BBS in the top photo are timeless and hard to beat imo.

BBS E88 look better, for my very personal taste

For daily use I would go for some original equipment provided for our model: for tracking the car, I think one could use whatever gives better performance/durability/reliability.

This is timely as I’ve been struggling through the same decision.

I’m leaning toward the HREs for one primary reason, the ability to get the exact offsets I want. I’ve got a NB car and don’t like the offset options I had with BBS compared to my TechArt offsets that are currently on the car. Good luck with the decision and make sure to share pictures when you get them on!

That is an aspect of this decision that I was struggling with. I like the flexibility with HRE, but how do you know what offset to go with other than asking them to use their standard setup? I wish I could mock the car up with different offsets until I find the perfect stance. Do you have numbers you are comfortable with and if so, how did you arrive at them?

BBS hold value better and you can choose between LM or E88 depending on budget.

The LMs get my vote, far and away over the E88s and HREs.

I’m happy with where things are offset-wise on my car today, so I’m using that as a starting point.

Currently have:
18x8.5 ET41
18x11 ET60

I want to get down to a 10 inch wheel in the back, and my quarters are rolled already. Looking at staying consistent with the front, moving to a 10 inch rim in the rear moving to an ET48 to accommodate the smaller wheel. I can’t get anywhere close to these numbers with the BBS LMs (didn’t look at the E88), so that somewhat made the decision for me.

I think the silver color is timeless, gold accent is a bit more distinctive. Really subjective, and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, if it was me, I'd go with the BBS which are classic. No bad choices

I like photo 1 but I understand that gold is coming back in style.

If you liked each wheelset the same, my vote would be for the lightest of the three choices, in order to maximize a performance gain at the same time.

Less unsprung rotating mass and lower moment of inertia, is difficult to beat, and much more significant then the less informed undersand.

If "look" is all you are going for, then that would be purely a personal choice.
