I have these on the back of my mats. Which straps do I need? The ones that Randall has?

Mike.....Yup, you have a "Randall" mat. That clip is what I ruined by connecting to my hardware store contraption.

My pleasure to help getting your fans operating correctly. I'm glad it turned out to be a simple, relatively cheap, fix.

With regard to your cruise control. Do make sure you still have brake lights, considering that they share the same fuse.

That's the first thing I checked (had this issue with my E30 when the brake switch under the pedal broke off).
