Looking for a car
New post in this forum, need help.
I am a current 928 owner until I sell it. I know the sites a perspective 928 owner can go to to get information on how and what to look for when buying a 928, is there the same kind of information for buying a 911? Looking to buy the best that I can under 50k, ideal would be speed yellow C4 cab, in a tiptronic, but that may not be possible, I just do not know enough. Any suggestions where I can go to determine what is the best model, what I should beware of, etc.
Thanks in advance for any help.

good luck in your search. There is no one "best" 993. only what fits you "best".

Welcome Huskydog -
C4s did not come with tiptronic trans - Only C2 models, so if you like that body style a C2S w/ tip is your ticket.
Your price point should get you a very nice, well cared for car. Most people on this forum are partial to 993s which is considered the zenith of 911 development.
Be patient, look at a lot of cars, don't compromise, get a mechanical and bodyshop PPI as cheap insurance.
When you find THE ONE, pull the trigger, then start enjoying the best of the breed. I've had mine 8 months now and it is always a pleasure to twist the key and drive.
Best wishes,
Howard
