Post Noise - P7000

I need new tires and i am thinking of p7000's
but everything i read on the net tells me
these are extreamly loud tires. Is there any truth
to this, does any one have p7000's?

There is tons and tons of reports on the net saying
how loud these tire are.

I had P7000s on my rear wheels up to yesterday, when I changed them to match the SO2s at the front. I've only done 15 miles on the SO2s, but can't say I've noticed any difference in noise so far. However, I'll have to do around 200 miles at least before I can really jude them properly.

The 7000s where not bad, good grip all round, especially considering they were very worn.

I have P7000's. Price was reasonable, performance is great. No noise issues. I autocrossed once and did one Driver's Ed on them. I have been impressed how well they have held up from a wear standpoint, though I was not impressed with the grip that I had at the auto-x.

Terrible on the rain so I don't know if you want them on your car since you're in Canada.

I have P7000's in Canada (Ancaster). They work for me. I have a Cab and don't have any tire noise issues. I am somewhat conservative in corners and find these relatively easy to cut loose on a tight turn/acceleration. They are not the best in rain but I don't go out in rain to often so it doen't bother me much. Very good treadware & low price. A bitch to keep clean (funny side wall ribs gather crud).
