I've got it figured out:
Click on Randy's profile, and at the bottom of the page is a link "Add Randy M to your ignore list". Click on that link, and from now on, when Randy posts to a thread, you won't see his avatar. You also won't see his post, just a small note that says, "Randy M This person is on your Ignore List. ".
I don't want to see that avatar, and Randy doesn't want to change it. That's his choice. He has the freedom to keep using it. I have the freedom to not see it. If anyone else would likewise not like to see it, I suggest doing the same.
Everyone wins, except that I suspect Randy will be slightly disappointed that certain people will not see what he posts. Maybe he'd rather be offensive than be heard. His choice.

Wow what bunch of whiners!!!! How is it offensive? I traded a few PM's about this subject last night with a guy in good standing. He didn't have a problem with it. People do alot of goofy stuff on this board and I was just having a little fun Many of you guys have fun with the HWFM goofiness. I dont have a problem with it. If you like to think your as slow as a turtle who am I to argue? And I'm not saying that I'm not either. Jim Bob posts threads with his southern form of the english language. Most of you accept it without a peep as do I. What many of you guys are doing is judging me because I used a really small and stupid looking picture as my avatar. Is that something to get bent out of shape about? Really now? If you fellas got your panties in a bunch about my avatar than you have larger issues that maybe needs a little attention. DJ you're on my ignore list too....
