I cover my floor mats with clear plastic then paper and then with another layer of plastic to protect the paper. I then fold the whole thing together to create a paper/plastic time continuum.

I just never get in the car or allow anyone to get in the car. Floor mats look brand new still.

I wrap my entire car in cling, and then tape it up. I never use it. Stays much cleaner that way.

Those new mats look much better than the old style. The PORSCHE lettering is much brighter and neater than on the previous ones. Was that lettering an option you chose, or did they just come that way?

Thanks for sharing!

These mats still have the original threaded plastic caps that secure them to the welded threaded studs on the floor (Both driver and passenger sides). More elegant solution than the new Porsche factory ones.

Went with the silver Porsche lettering that in my opinion is a little neater than what was offered before.

I think they cost about the same as they did 15 years ago, easy to swap.

We do have a white German Shepherd puppy, plastic wrapping the mats wouldn't be enough, might as well do the whole house!

Regards

Alex

Funny, my wife gave me a set of Lloyd's a few years ago-5 or 6?-and the backing is disintegrating. I'm going to replace, but not with Lloyd's, as I'm disappointed. My car doesn't do a ton of miles, and my interior certainly doesn't take abuse. So, Coco's for me this next time.

Ned, which is the insert color? I was looking at their site recently, and didn't see a "Cashmere" option. My interior is Cashmere, like yours.

FYI they have a "natural" color also which might be a good match for the Cashmere in the 993. Here it is in my Macan which has a Luxor beige interior.
