Hi All,
I just picked up my 1996 993 TT yesterday at Brandywine Porsche in Newtown Square, PA. The car has 48,000 miles and has been 100% dealer serviced with NO performance modifications. The only deviations from original window sticker are the Porsche carbon fiber parts, Porsche S front spoiler, and a top line audio system. I paid in the upper $60's for the car but I felt the car had been wonderfully maintained and the car comes with a 2 year Porsche warranty! As this is my first post to Rennlist and I read the rules for first time posters, I will not ask any questions due to my "overwhelming fear" to ask a stupid question. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the board since I have been a "lurker" for several months trying to learn what I can about these great cars. I am 37 and I have been a P-Car nut since I was young. I have a 1961 356 Roadster that has classic timeless styling. These 993 TT's have equally beautiful classic styling. I have enjoyed the 993 TT's style for years and now I can enjoy the performance as well.
Here are the specs if interested:

Additional

Congratulations Tony and welcome to the board. I live in South Jersey and am hoping to have some sort of meet/fun run when the weather breaks. Would love to get a closer look at your TT. Too bad we just got this snow, its supposed to be 48 degrees Friday but I think there may be a bit too much residual muck left lying around.
Congrats again.

Hi Tony,
Was wondering if you delt with Lee at Brandywine, Great and knowledgeable guy. Watch the service at Brandywine its a little pricey.
Congratulations![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Welcome to the board. A couple comments about your options.... does it really have a telescoping steering wheel? I didn't think any 993s had that. And "traction control" may be a misnomer. "Traction control" I think means it cuts power when needed. AFAIK, 993 TTs have Active Brake Differential, which applies brakes where needed, which is a different thing.
Sounds like you have some sweet options. Congrats!

Congrats, car looks great. Don't be afraid to ask questions. There's no such thing as a stupid question. But it helps to do a search to see if the question has been answered already. Enjoy!
