Best Tire Size Option for 17X9 and 11 Wide Rims
Hey guys, Couple of questions...
What size tires would you guys recommend for a 17X9f and 17X11r rim on a 96TT? I have used 315/255 (Hoosiers) in order to keep the similar tire diameters, but the sidewalls on the 255 makes the car look really funny. The only other option I found available (in terms of tire availability) while maintaining same tire diameters is a 285/245 tire from Yokohama (AVS)...all other 285 tires do no suggest using an 11 inch rim. Any suggestions?
Second question...should I continue to try and sell these rims (FIKSE FM-10s) and go with 18s in stock widths (8/10 inch) or keep the 17s for the track given the wider widths of the rims? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
