I did a search on the archives and saw some references to a similar problem with the 3.6TT. Smoke is white in color and it eventually disappears after a short while.
My car is normally aspirated but yet still exhibits some slight smoke from only the left side tailpipe when cold. I'm parked in a level garage. Is this normal? Why only from the left side? Could oil be leaking into the left bank of cylinders somehow?
Should I be concerned and is there anything I can do to prevent the problem?
TIA

I would try the solution that the TT owners do. Try tightening the small engine oil filter a bit more.
Interesting that this came up becaues my car started smoking like a wildfire last time I took it out. I'm pretty sure it's the same problem that I had before, all the sypmtoms are the same.
