Easy way to restore plastic parts
Not a question, just thought I’d share. I got this tip from a coworker that had a Tacoma with those plastic fenders that are always faded. He’s by no means a car guy. So, when he told me that he heard Mr Clean magic erasers restore plastic trim, I was very skeptical. Only, because I’ve tried every product under the sun only to get mediocre results. Needless to say, I was blown away when I saw his results. He only used water and those erasers. No chemicals, no dressing.
Anyway, here’s a before and after of my fender liners. All I did was clean the dirt off of them first, then use the pads as directed with water.

The technology behind these magic erasures is amazing, they are far from simple sponges. They fibers kind of act like tiny razor blades that shave off the stains.

For those nervous about "little razors," try the product "Forever Black."
It makes any black plastic look new.
It worked awesome on the black plastic on the bottom of my 993 rockers.
