As pointed out a few days ago, Performance, while backordered is running a special on PSS-9s. These come with the new hats. However, their web site says, "Please note: 1994-98 911/993 require Spherical Bearing Shock (Part No. 911832). " Specifically those are the Weltmeister ERP Camber Plates which "Incorporate spherical bearings, eliminating the vague feedback associated with rubber mounted units." I thought this only applied if you didn't have the hats.
Do you have to have the camber plates with PSS-9s if you use the new hats?
