Talking Target RC mod madness?? Yes.....

Hey guys.
Heres an update on my Target RC GT2 modifications. Last time I showed it completely disassembled and going into the bodyshop .

Here are the pictures of it now. I'll get to detailing the interior eventually. I think it'll match my real car (which I get back from the bodyshop this week) pretty well.

You all thought I was crazy before................now what will everyone think?...??

Awesome looking car Princeton! How did you do the C/F, knowing you & your maddness I know it can be the real thing but is it tape?

I'm little disappointed though and I need to ask following...
My weight watching brother, how much has the weight been reduced?

First thing I did with my Target RC car was to get rid of that front "bumper", it's not enough of course but it's a start...

Novice - Its actually the same paint as what my real car is getting. Its in the bodyshop right now so I asked them to spray the little RC plastic body as well.

Finn - The carbon fiber is the laminated carbon fiber that is flexible. I just made outlines off of the RC with masking tape then cut the sheet to match.

Also unfortunately the RC car is indeed HEAVIER than it was before. GASP..... The few layers of paint and clear coat added a bit. I did however shave the mirrors like on the real deal and remove some bits. I'll have to find parts of the chassis to drill out.

On a brighter note, my real car will finally be losing the weight of the heating system. BUT, there will be more weight from much wider rims and tires and the big splitter . Still on track to removing 500lbs tho.
