Ditto on the bent wheel. You can NOT necessarily see the bent spot without having the wheel spinning on a balancing machine. When it is rotating, you will see a small (hopefully) "hiccup" on the edge of the rim. It may just be on the outside or inside lip of the rim, but a small bent spot can cause vibrating as you descibed.

Tread seperation? I had a car that vibrated badly in turns but not on straights. Balancing and alignment did not help. Turned out one of the front tires had internal tread seperation, according to the tire guy. Just a thought.
