Default Which spacers for 993 RS?

I have genuine 18" Speedlines on my RS tribute, a narrow body 993 C2. It's on M033 springs. While I like the stance I feel it could benefit from the wheels being pushed out toward the arches a little more. I was thinking 5mm rear and 7mm front spacers. Does anyone know what spacers widths can be accommodated on a NB with M033 springs and 18" Speedlines without running into issues?
Thanks, Meenrod

6mm is maximum thickness using the original wheel studs. Installing longer ones allows thicker spacers.

Stock studs are 45mm long and you get 52mm and 66mm ones.

5mm isnt worth the effort! If they will take 15mm bolt on spacers at the rear are the way to go, each car is different, tyre choice can make 3 or 4 mm difference too. 7mm on the front is fine, I run 15mm on the rear of my turbo although I did need to roll the left arch a little, looks great though with a wider stance!

I would think you would want an RS tribute to look like the RS with the same wheel offset.

For looks you can add spacers. But for driving I have found that no spacers is the most enjoyable and predictable. On track and road.

Anyone know how wide one can go without running into rubbing issues on an NB car?

I use 5mm on the rear of mine. Not a huge difference thou, as mentioned that’s the most you can go with stock studs.

All depends on if its lowered, what tires, what wheels etc.

15mm is ok on a factory car at the rear, when lowered they may rub over bumps as mine did. just by a few mm, easily rolled the arch lip on the inside and clears no problem now

He's asking about NB cars and you have a turbo, i.e. a WB, so not sure why you're chiming in here.

15mm spacers on stock ET65 10" rear NB 993 wheels will not fit. 5-7mm spacers is about all you can do.

@Meenrod,

I jdid spacers earlier this summer... I am running RS ride height and RS alignment settings.

I have the following wheels/tire combos.

Work Brombachers w/Hankook RS3s (my avatar picture)
Front 18x8.5 et55 - 235/40/18
Rear 18x10 et60 - 275/35/18

OZ Alleggeritas w/Continental Extremecontact DWs
Front 18x8.5 et53 - 235/40/18
Rear 18x10 et65 - 275/35/18

In both cases, my front tires were rubbing the wheel well when I would lock the steering wheel. I got 8mm H&R spacers and longer studs and that fixed my wheel well rubbing problems. For both wheels/tires I did not have to roll my front fenders. No problems driving the car hard through turns at AX events this summer.

As for the rear I tried 5mm spacers to even it out and my OZ/Conti tires on freeway bumps would rub the fender so I removed them.

Hey there, I too own a narrow body C2. Running Hollow 18" spoke turbo twists, lowered on H&R Springs - Just installed 5mm spacers in the rear and 7mm spacers in the front. Got rid of my rubbing issue at full lock and is the perfect offset to the fender imo.
