Default Fuel pump guidance

My fuel pump has been getting noisier -- the hum seems louder lately. Probably time to replace it.

Prices for Bosch pumps are all over the place. Is there a reason why a Bosch pump from, say, ECS is $142 and a Bosch pump from Sunset is $515? Is the price difference because the latter comes in a Porsche box? Any reason not to get the cheaper one?

I bought the cheaper Bosch one about 2 years ago when my original started getting pretty noisy. Zero issues. Easy install.

Is it a noisy pump or a dried out pump isolation mounting issue? Seems to me it is a rather expensive part to replace considering that it is working. Rubber vibration mounting grommets run about a buck each on line.
