Default 993 Items for Sale

Selling a few items from my 1995 Carrera (993, 2wd, narrow-body, non-varioram). Already chatted with Viken and he's aware of this post.

For Sale
1. ROW M030 Springs and M030 Sway-bars. Springs 3yrs old; bars are original (PSS-9 and TRG bars took their place - thank you ViperBob!). Springs new are around $450, bars new are around $450. Both are in excellent condition. Asking $500

2. K&N Cone-Filter system for a non-varioram 993 - rain shield included. Good condition. New, approximately $450. Asking $150

Please PM if interested.

Decided to try factory airbox with drilled-out holes and never went back.

Sound with cone filter is nice, but so is a drilled-out factory box. WOT is really nice with the cone filter.

Since I'm not using it, wouldn't mind getting rid of it.

Hi Oleg.

Missed you posting and seeing you around the garage recently. Hope work has not been keeping you away. Another Rennlister, Mkhn lives right over by you on Springer. He has a gorgeous '97 993TT in black with only 12k miles.. You guys should say hello to each other.

Oleg,

I'll take the cone filter if it's still available (you have PM).

So, is this a cheap way to go ROW M030? I'm thinking I'd send my shocks to Bilstien for revalving to Sport specs while the car was apart.

Or is this a classic case of "penny wise, pound foolish" buying used springs and such. Would it be better to cough up the extra cash for all new parts?

Oleg, I'm very tempted, but I need to do the math.

Opinions?

Your safe in buying used springs, short of from a wickedly wrecked car. Springs will take a 'set' early in their loaded life and maintain their rate.

This looks like a good deal...

Hey Oleg

If Yellow C4s does not want the suspension, I would be glad to take the sway-bars off of your hands. I already have the springs.
Thanks

Kevin
