I had one of these in my 944S2. Completely changed the feel of the car. I loved it.

How does that vintage prototipo feel? Is it softer than the standard? Been thinking about changing mine.

I've always liked the Prototipo but I have never been a fan of the leather texture. The Vintage is the same thickness but the leather is completely different, a higher grade hide and much softer to the touch. I love the feel and the look much more than the standard Prototipo, I am glad I went for it. I purchased it from Pelican about this time last year, they were running a 10% promo on Momo products for Black Friday.

There is another small detail Having a 20+ year old explosive that is untested. I think zee germans require 10-year test cycle (and possibly replacement) on the bags. So it's a very personal decision. I prefer no bags but learned to live with them as they got smaller and less obtrusive over the years.

Another modded 3-spoke 996 wheel done by an outfit in Germany. Wheel is slightly thicker over stock. I have a spare plastic airbag cover I may modify with the same leather to match the wheel.

Apologies for the interruption to the original thread...
@911F1...Here's some pics of the seats (installed b4 the revised steering wheel) - customized Recaro Sportster CS with leather, arctic silver painted backs, and silver Porsche script in the headrests...I'm away from the car now so don't have a lot of pics of the interior...just pulled what I had from my google drive...

I'm a fan of the Atiwe 3-spoke wheel, especially considering it was a factory option (M433). One of these days I'll get mine off the shelf and install it.

For now, I have the Momo Race, which I'm generally happy with:
