Default Carrrera stripe or no Carrera stripe?

Had someone PS this on another forum (click here if you want to see the other "creative" photoshops created pursuant to my request: https://forums.vwvortex.com/showthre...er-decal-help!).

What does Rennlist think, stripe or no stripe?

I normally don't like it much, but heck it looks pretty good with the other orange bits. And you have a fully caged car so it's not posing any more.

BTW, I bet you get some horrible bump steer with that ride height. BTDT.

I owned a silver 912 back in 1970 and put a black porsche stripe on it and loved it. But something i can never forget is two different times guys said to me why people know it's a porsche. I like my 993 factory look but i do like it when seen on anothers car. I like what TheOtherEric said other orange bits. My 912 was a 1967.

I agree with WithOtherEric. I normally do not like the Carrera Stripes but looks great on this car!

+1. I didn't think I would like it, but this works. Cheers,

I'm gonna dissent. I think the stripe itself looks good but unless it is matched precisely with the other oranges it's gonna look shabby.

It's the difference between a guy that looks like a millions bucks in a fitted three pieces suit cut from the same fabric, and a shlubby guy that tried to match navy khakis with a navy blazer in a different material and slightly different shade.

VadGTI yes this works on your Porsche, btw nice Porsche with or without the stripes. Please no harm as i personal prefer OEM styling.

Even my favored stunning Porsche 993 has stripes; https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/2...uail-monterey/

I'm diggin' the stripe!

P.S.: I think the orange calipers are a nice touch as well.
