Default Carbon fiber door sills/Wet Okole Seat Covers

Here is a photo of recently installed carbon fiber door sills and wet okole seat
covers:

The seatcovers are neoprene and are custom fit for the Porsche seat. I chose black with red piping (the red to match the red seat belt option on the C2S. Also chose to opt out of the wet okole logo.) The covers fit very well; they use pull straps underneath the seat for a snug fit. They look good and should definitely protect the original leather.

The door sills were purchased from a seller on ebay. The car came with aluminum door sills but they looked a little out of place with the full carbon interior (even the door handles and the piece surrounding the seat adjust buttons are carbon fiber.)

Is that a black door panel with tan speaker boxes and arm rest I see. Very interesting! I'd love to see a good photo of that.

Thanks for the photo! I am considering changing my black interior to tan or partial tan. This may be a good way to go for me.

Are you planning to cover the carbon too - to protect it?

Is there a point protecting the leather if you don't see it?

Other than my sarcasm, I've not seen neoprene seat covers before - what do they cost? (Edit - just spotted the website link)

Since passengers don't sit on the carbon, probably not.

Yes...unlike the U.K. we have sunlight here in Texas . Covering it means less worry during regular use...and no UV damage. I've already inadvertantly torn the leather in my Boxster S in a couple of places...perhaps the covers should best be described as 'self insurance.' And when the concours comes around, the seat covers can be easily removed, revealing pristine leather without additional wear and tear.

the factory carbon fiber package is over 3k yikes ...... i like it though. does anyone know where i could get the carbon fiber door panels. porsche apparently doesn't make the left sided panel anymore. i specifically told pelican parts about this (hoping they had a proper pair in stock) and they still sent me two right sided panels. ummmmmmmmmm duuuuuuhhhhhhh like i wasn't going to notice.

I had Wet Okole seat covers on my D90... they were nice. I have never thought about putting them in a Porsche, but sounds like a good idea. My marble gray seats are so hard to keep looking good; I may just buy a set of these to cruise around in until a track event or show then I won't have to worry about the leather so much. Good idea!

i know it's totally rude to critisize someone's car on here but i think if we're a family we should be honest with one another. first of all im not an interior designer but you have way too many colors and fabrics and stuff going on -- black, tan, red, carbon fiber and now neoprene. stick to two.

Don't forget the white on the gauges.

Black, tan, red seat belts, carbon fiber trim---all factory. I could have tried tan seat covers (the only piece in which I had say-so), but that would have resulted in the same number of colors.

Karim,

Unfortunately, it was on the car from the PO so I can't tell you where to get it. I can tell you, however, it is much different from the "stuffed" arm rests usually seen here. I enjoy it and use it all the time. It doesn't get in the way and has a very "spartan/functional" look.
