Front and Rear Bumperettes
Anyone know where I can get a set of Front and Rear Bumperettes....?
I want to get them painted via Bumper Plugs....(they do amazing work) but take 3 weeks start to finish.
I can't live with the car for 3 weeks looking 1/2 *** without them...so...I'll buy a second set and get them done.
Thanks..

I had my rear bumper replaced with the European one (minus bumperettes). I'll see if the guy still has my old bumper. If so you're more than welcome to the bumperettes. I can check next week.

Keith - Are you sure you wouldn't rather remove them entirely - I love the look w/o bumperettes and clear lenses wrapping around the front!

It would be really nice if Bumperplugs would paint and ship a set to you first, taking yours as a "core" in return. That would be a great service and realy would not cost them much to do. I have suggested this to them as having to find another set in the mean time is what keep me from doing business with them. Eric's reply--maybe some day, too busy right now.

Chris..
I will call Eric this week and apply a bit more pressure on him to initiate a "core return" program.
Unless I find another set, I can't do it his way either.

Check the pics of my German car (www.modica.co.uk/porsche.htm)... no bumper plugs in sight! I much prefer this look.... why not go down that route as suggested?

As some have suggested..." remove front bumperettes and install Euro Turn Signals" for a better look.
Well...not to disagree with others opinions and appearances because we are all entitled....but.....IMHO...I am not in favor of the differences in color (shade-shine) of the plastic turn signal sitting up against the much different (color-shade-shine) of the foglight lense/glass.
The contrast is too apparent...almost giving it a fake look. I think the painted bumperette breaks up the front end nicely.
I do have the clear turn signals and feel the space taken by the bumperette offers a shadeless/lack of contrasting effect.
Again, being picky here....as not to offend...so please...don't shoot the messenger !!! /
