I saw these mats in the recent Tweeks catalog. You may want to check their website Tweeks.com.

Check the Archives...I know it has been discussed many times, but can't remember the answer to your question.

Good luck with your search.

So, welcome to the board and how do you like MBurg. My aunt & uncle live there and I treck out that way fairly often in the summer. Maybe we can meet up for a beer sometime.

jkw944,

If your interested, Mark in Baltimore, SamN, and a couple others are coming over next weekend (Sat. 31st) to help me with my DAS Rollbar install, Recaro's, and harnesses (if the seats get here up in time). I'm just over an hour from you and if you want to stretch the PCar legs PM me and I'll get you directions.

As I understand it you will not be able to find black mats with red lettering as the manufacturer is restricted by Porsche from producing these and they are not available from Porsche anymore, although I have not tried to order. Have you tried Gert at Carnewal? If anyone might have them it would be them...

PAP-PARTS sells them but they are not OEM. They look pretty good for a decent price.

Speaking of floor mats, I saw a car here on Rennlist that had mats with "993" embroidered in the Porsche script font. Anyone know about these?

You can check out Pelican Parts would be one source for Lloyd mats with the 993 embroidered in the mat...

If you don't want the red piping around the sides, they sell them in all black with the red script too. Just ask them, I've seen them before. In my opinion, the red piping is too 'loud'

Hi there, you can call 323-934-4567; them can make any type of floor mats. I have black with the silver crest.

John,

Those Ebay mats appear to not have the grommet hole "hold-down" screw.

Thumbs down

After searching everywhere for black mats with the red Porsche logo for my 993 targa, I finally ordered the mats without the red piping from PAP and have had them about a year. They're okay, but not of great quality. After just a year, they don't look too good. And, no, they don't have any fasteners to hold them in place. I'm constantly pulling the driver's side mat out away from my accelerator pedal. Had to use some Velcro to keep it in place. I wouldn't buy another set from them. Still, that's the only place I've seen those with the color combination I wanted.

www.strasseusa.com

Try this site out. I recently ordered Lloyd mats from these guys with the 993 logo and the center fastener system. The mats were much better quality than the mats I purchased and returned from the Porsche dealer. Unfortunately, because of a licensing disagreement between Porsche and Lloyds, you cannot order the mats with the PORSCHE block letter logo from anyone other than Porsche NA.
