guys- im thinking of upgrading my suspension as well as lowing my 993c2 to ROW height.
What is the cost to get pss-9 kit, as well as the M030 kit w/ROW springs (in case i want to keep it OEM)?
Also, what should the cost of installation be? I was quoted $5k from my shop and I think that this is high.

You should take a look at <a href="http://www.carnewal.com" target="_blank">www.carnewal.com</a> and look in the suspension section.

For Pss9's with adj stab: $2595

5K for installation seems a bit high, unless they were going to include the costs of the parts as well. Even then, I spoke to some body who had the pss9's installed, and they said it cost about $1200 for installation. That should include installation, alignment, and corner balencing.

Standard installation time for all 4 shocks and springs shouldn't be no more than 4-6 hours even with sway bar change.

Factor in $125 (What the dealer charges here) labor for 4 wheel alignment. And maybe add 2 more hours for corner balance.

Note: The M030 setup can only be corner balanced in the front.

I went through this within the last 6 months - I paid a bit less than $2595 for the full kit with RS adj sway bars; install with corner balance and full alignment was around $1000 (can't remember the exact amount).

True, but that’s usually enough. These cars are pretty close already. Mine was only a few pounds off, and some small tweaks on the front got it even closer.

Seriously, though, what a ripoff quote. Are you sure they weren't quoting parts AND labor? Even then, it's kind of obscene.

I paid $1,699 for PSS-9's through Turner Motorsports, $275 for Euro M030 sway bars (non-adjustable but much stiffer than original) from Gert at Carnewal.com, and $1,000 for installation, corner balance, 4 wheel alignment and complete brake system flush (tossed in for good measure).

Total: $2,974 complete.
