Post What is a Gembella?

I saw a Gembella Porsche....a 1997 C4S.

How is this different than a regular C4S?

An aftermarket tuner, much like TechArt, Strosek or Ruf.

I should have phrased it differently.....what does Gembella do to a C4S as part of their customization process?

Probably anything the customer wanted.
has the saying goes..."speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?"

You probably could call gembella, and find out what the did on that particular car.

Common tweaks include--but are not limited to--suspension, wheels, areo, and engine innards.

Gemballa, unlike kits or whatever you get, will do just about whatever you want.

I remember when I was a kid I saw a Gemballa Avalanche 911 that started midnight blue in the front and faded to black by the back of the car. The interior alone was a $60k mod because the guy was an athelete and too tall. Pretty insane.

Take a peek at their site...they do some cool stuff.

Doug, can I ask the obvious question, you pass on a super clean C2S with all the right options and the right color because it had RS springs, and now you might buy a Gemballa? I am a little confused here. I mentioned in a different thread last night that I have a friend with a very clean arctic silver C2S with a bunch of options that he would talk to you about. Here is your old thread with my post at the bottom.

Here is the link to Gemballa's website.

I am still confused though.

E. J.

PS - I think Vanilla Ice enjoyed a few 911s as modified by Gemballa.

EJ - you might be confused because you are thinking that I was considering buying it, rather than simply wondering what they did to it.

I did not pass on the other C2S soley because of the springs...there were a few other issues that didn't need to surface here.

I will shoot you an email or PM later today about the other car.

Sorry, I assumed and we all know where that gets us. I included a link to Gembalas US website in the previous post, so you can see exactly what they do.
