Very nice! Do you have any shots from a little more distance? That would help us imagine how cool you'd look pulling up with those buckets. The view from the front would be interesting to see.
* So, how'd you mount the inboard belts?
* Any special fabrication required for the sliders and brackets or did you use stock parts available from ____?
* Finally, did you use velcro to affix the Porsche emblems or were these custom-embroidered?

The inboard belts attach similiarly on the opposite side of the seat belt mounts. All parts are stock. The seats came embroidered, and I assume all cloth versions do also. I'll post more pictures after I wash her this weekend.

I didn't have a good scale to weigh them, but I can tell you that I can easily lift the seat with one hand high in the air. Do that with a stock seat! I believe I read somewhere the seats are around 6.5kg, translating to a weight savings of 30kg per seat. The seats are quite comfortable for daily driving, however it may depend on your weight and height. I'm only 5'7" 160lbs.

Matt, how about the seat cushion height from the ground? Is it any closer than the standard seat's?
Kim - that's for sure! No longer will I slide across my seats in a turn!

I would have to say that the rear part of the cushion is slightly lower than the stock seat at its lowest point (using the 8-way comfort seats as a guide). From there, the cushion rises up as it gets closer to the front. I may be sitting about 1-1.5" lower than before.
Congrats on the seats, they look awesome! I've been thinking about mounting my driver's side directly to the floor to save a bit of weight; Brey-Krause has an adapter but only for the 996 (as far as I know)
I've also noticed that rear leg room has increased since the shell/padding is thinner. So a plausible excuse to the missus could be "But honey, look at how much more legroom there is for the kids/mother-in-law!" <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />
BTW is your tan/black interior factory? I have a tan/black interior but it has much less black than yours (ie. carper, doors, etc).
