Turbo vs NAs
Hello
Why do people praise so much the 993 turbo when NAs models are so much better to drive?
With modern cars, nobody loves turbos but idk why with classics, everybody loses their mind with 930s and 993 turbos. They aren't any good to drive and they aren't NA with all the implications this have.
Evwrybody hates 991.2 because they are all turbo.
Everybody loves 991.1 GTSs and all GT3s... NA is the pinnacle of cars, so why?

- For the newest model year breaking with tradition, installing a smaller engine, concerns about reliability all just to meet what many believe to be arbitrary, meaningless and draconian emission standards doesn't sit well with enthusiasts.
- For 930 /964/993 Turbo's offered greatly improved acceleration and were top of the line cars, adding to their interest and price.

I think it's because people associate the wide body with the Turbo, and love the aggressive look of the WB. Yes the C2S & C4S also existed as WB's but less people are probably aware of that, and for those who are aware of it and very performance oriented, might be concerned about the additional weight / drag of the non-turbo WB on performance.
To be clear - I love all the WB's including the Turbo - I think they look great...and the Narrow body's are gorgeous too! The 993 has to be one of the most beautiful cars on the planet!
