Well, since Rennlist membership is a pre-req to joining the team, I made the leap and joined up. I'd like to formally apply as pit crew (but you may have to wait for me as I'm slow) and perhaps hacker second class (I run a computer integration company specializing in security, so I have a couple of qualifications). Is there an application form I can fill out to seek nominations?

"... the privileges, rights, perquisites and yes, obligations and responsibilites of membership in this august, loosely organized, scattered, but sometimes rigidly controlled group of disparate car enthusiasts sharing perhaps little except Rennlist membership and a common interest in, ostensibly, going slow under conditions when others having more sense and certainly more skill are trying to go fast, ... yada, yada, yada for another page."

The point is HWFM members are required to also be Rennlist members. However, I am mindful of Article 2, written by JimBob, which states: "Iffun dat yankee Mike neads ta brake da rulz fur wunna hiz kin datz okie dokie cuz he bee da boss."

So, it looks like Arnaud needs to either join Rennlist or change his name to Arnaud Faems.

Teammate Don does indeed have a 951, and my membership is held by the family trust, so I imagine Chris is a member as well.

Danny, good thinking on those affiliate memberships. Three months at sea have not dulled your razor sharp mind.

When I left the house for work this morning, a cadre of photographers was waiting for me. It was very surreal. Upon arriving at work, I checked Rennlist as I do each morning (at the request of my mother, the Queen, to keep tabs on the Founder). I discovered that I am Heir To The Throne of HWFM Racing. The Papparazzi at my house must have been looking for a picture or a good story for Page 6. Now I know what Prince William has to endure. It's the price of being royalty.
