Post A/C drops RPM every 20-30 sec

Hi Guys,

Do you guys notice that while turning on the A/C the power drops and the car pull back slghtly every 30 sec or so.
I notice the RPM drops slight when stationart and also driving.

Is this normal?
Thanks

Normal. 911s have been doing this for years ;-). If the drop is any more than 50 RPM, then it's time to have the AC compressor checked.

Kadeer:

In addition to Sean's suggestion, you might have the freon charged checked. If the charge pressure is too low, the low freon control switch causes the compressor to cycle off.

Good luck ! These A/C issues are a bi$%h !
