Had I known that the wording of my second sentence was going to cause this much turmoil, I would have edited it accordingly.
Also, I don't have thin skin, I just don't like being condescended. You further replied that I wouldn't "listen" anyway.
You know what, forget it, I'm done with this conversation. I wouldn't want to anger the rennlist gods with my stupid questions, arrogance, deafness and laziness.
Sheesh!

Robert, I agree that having a user FAQ would be useful. Many other lists that I've participated in over the years have these and it both helps new users figure out how to get around and lets the old timers just point them to the faq instead of dealing with the same question a million times.
Usually the list-owner, moderator, or a voulunteer familiar with the site do this, any volunteers?
My .02,

Hey, my Gotta-run-dinner's-ready glib response is, Let's get John to use the infamous (if you've been around a while) 'blink' tag on the Search hyperlink at the top of the page!

Hey Peter that is actually what I was thinking as well a few days ago when I looked at the FAQ marked 993/964 on the front page of the forums and all you get is 964 FAQ, which by the way are very nice and some are applicable to our cars as well...
The 928 guys have an admin marked thread with their FAQ.
I think I'm going to start a thread and see what happens!

Three Wheelin'
Man...the first sentence of this thread is Ray bait at it's best. <img src="graemlins/a_smil17.gif" border="0" alt="[blabla]" /> B-Line, you should be glad he's on vacation or where ever he is. Anyway, I too have had problems getting the archives to work sometimes. But, I'll also say that 'not having the time' is alot different than 'I tried and had problems...could someone help me out'. I'm glad you got your answer.
