If any thread were worthy of being banished to the Abyss, the closed thread surely qualified. Somehow, I missed the firestorm that was swirling in there. I thought someone was asking about some arcane AC compressor option.
Your original post didn't come across as impolite but, rather, more as a matter of fact request. No big deal to me.
I drop in on the 964 board more than a few times a week, and you've always seemed like an asset. Your efforts to enrich the 993 world by writing a book are wholly appreciated by many of us here.

Dear Mike,
I look forward to receiving them. I get new contributors every day and everything I am getting is perfect. I learned a lot from the 964 book, and this has been installed into the 911SC book and the 993 book will be even better.

Wow, I missed all the ugliness. What an embarrassment.
I'd be delighted to send pictures. My car is relatively inaccessible due to the snow/salt right now, but if you still need pictures in a few weeks, I'd be more than happy to contribute. I look forward to the book, and I'm a certain purchaser.

There is plenty of time. I need to have the bulk of the images in by the end of March 2004. There is a lot of admin work to do and turning the images into the correct size etc for the publishing software I write in.
