Good luck with the book, Adrian! If I have anything of value to contribute, I'll send it your way.

No problem Harold. Keep them coming please. The more I get now the faster the book will come together.
I have a section for track junkies as well so those who track their 993s please send me your pictures. One to three good ones only. This way I can get you all in.
Ciao,
Adrian

I hope there is and I really look forward to the rennlisters contribution to my book. They have not let me down with the 964 and the 911SC and I am sure the 993 owners here will keep up the tradition.
I will use approximately 1100 to 1500 images in the 993 book. It will be a similar size to the 964 book.

Adrian

Hi Adrian

Great news!

For the duration of my 964 ownership I was waiting for your book.........which was published just after I sold it! As my RS is a keeper (famous last words) I'll get a chance to buy one of your books whilst owning the car!

Adrian,

Bravo! The last air-cooled Porsche most deservedly merits a volume all its' own. I will be proud to have it on my "Porsche Library" shelf! Best of luck with your new project...

I have received many queries about technical images. I need engines installed and not installed, ROW and USA.
DMEs under the seat, ROW and USA.
Transmisisons complete and disassembled.
Control units disassembled.
Photos of the luggage compartment/trunk with the carpet removed from all different angles showing the contents. RHD and LHD.
Pictures of the clutch/brake/gas pedal assembly with the carpet and coverings removed showing all the switches and linkages again LHD and RHD.
Brakes, installed and removed. Brake pads. Callipers including the GT-2 EVO II. I am sure I have some of these myself but themore the merrier.
Brake discs/rotors.
993s on jack stands all these kinds of things. Underside shots of the engine and transmission.
You name it I need it.

Adrian

Even though I am still in my 944, if you live in the Saint Louis area and need some digital pix drop me a line. I shoot with an Olympus E-20 and Canon G-2 (both 5 MP cameras). If we can work out a time then it would be a good thing.

Here is the original request. Not many pleases and thank yous here either but a completely different response. Methinks something is going on here behind the scenes not that I expect anyone to admit it. The comments from the other thread are far too close to something I will not go into on this forum. However the statement stands, if the majority do not want a 993 enthusiasts companion please let me know now.

Adrian

Adrian, please don't take those bits of that thread too seriously - sometimes the 993 brethren head off at a tangent at high speed. I mean, people have even had a go at Viken !!

I bought your 964 book, and hope the 993 one is even better. As I gave myself a digital Nikon for Christmas, I may even participate in the photo binge.

All the best, cheers, Maurice
