Greg,
Hope your wife is well.

IMHO (I have a 5 year old and a 35 gallon tank) OG is right. Do you want to start playing Ninja Turtles in the following forms: large action figures, small action figures, mega blocks, video games, and real hand to hand (me against him) at 5:30 A.M. every Saturday and Sunday? Think it through.

Greg,
I hope everything goes well with your new plans, and especially Mrs. Bozo's health.

I have a friend who has been 993 shopping, and I sent him a link to your page, I hope he likes blue, he would take very nice care of "precious".

Best Wishes Greg to you and your good wife - I'll miss ol Bozo's DIYs.

[come closer, I'm whispering:] Get yourself an Xbox - Project Gotham Racing 2 has a 993 GT2 in it. Not the real thing I know, but its pretty good nonetheless! And if you haven't already, make that trip to Target for the GT2 r/c thats been doing the rounds

Take care and best of luck with the sale (if the company I'm trying to hook up with in the US would pull their finger out and make me a decent offer - I'd buy your car!!!)

Greg:

My best to you and your wife. I am sure complete recovery is around the corner.

Now, I am going to dissent about the kids. Do they cause stress? Absolutely, both psycological and sometimes physical (no sleep, etc). But I also think it is a good stress, and there is nothing in the world like little ones. I cannot tell you how many times I get home after a really tough day in the OR or clinic, and Olivia (5, tomorrow) or Emma (8 on New Year's Eve!) - or both - gives me a hug, and I just forgot about what gave me the headache. Kids are very cool.

But first things first, get everyone healthy and enjoy that for a while.

Well, doctors have told her in the past she'd have to stop working in order to have kids anyway, so all in all, more reasons for her to quit. It's that or a dog anyway, so I'd rather have a kid, I think ;-) Eventually they outgrow diapers... Dogs, well... Though you guys are scaring me with your ninja turtles!

I just realized that'd mean I'd have no P-car for the first time in 10 years, and would have to show up at the rennsport reunion in a british car ! Oh the ignominy ! If someone hears about a decent 356A next year (hopefully by then we'll be in good shape), remember ol'Bozo ! thanks all !

Babies are fun ..a lot more fun than any P-car .

Pop up a kid and teach him about P-Cars when he is around 7-8 you would enjoy riding a Porsche together..

In my opinion the world is worthless without kids.

I'm with you, Georges!

And as for kids and Porsches, both my daughters love the thing. Pretty soon, though, the 8yo will have to sit up front (she's very tall). Now, that will be interesting...

Georges and stedge are dead on about children and Porsches. I have a four year old son with Autism, and his favorite thing to do is to go for a ride in he P-car. I know he wants to go when he pulls on my shirt and says "vroom vroom"!

I think Stedge discovered the secret about Kids (GIRLS!)
I have been told that boys are harder in the beginning
and girls are harder when they get older (teens) we'll see.
I wont have to worry about makeup, hip huggers and string
bikini underwear. At least I dont think!
Greg I just hope everything works out.

I also sold my P-Car for a new house and a small fella working on #2, the headaches are definately worth it. My son is actually a stress reliever from my job. I am a professional arguer or engineer I mean, which ever you prefer.

I have three boys, a three gallon tank, a farsighted siamese fighting fish (he keeps overshooting the food pellets) and no P-car. Much as I want the car, I'd rather have it this way than the other way around. You can always replace the car. Out with the bad stress, in with the good.

That said, there is an old ad for the 964 on the PCNA website that translates roughly: "Take more time at breakfast. Get home earlier. Is there a better family car?" I'd like to see.

Hey I am not saying I would do without my boys.
But lets be real here Greg says he needs
to REDUCE stress, not increase stress.
I love my two tasmainian tornadoes.
I can honestly say there is NEVER a dull moment
at my house!

OG, I guessed by the SpongeBob avatar that you were not about to trade the boys for a one-handed ride at 205 in a 996 TT.

Point taken: kids are stressful, and if stress is the problem, you may try doing without it for a while first.
