Glad to see others DEing and pushing the limits on the 993 platform. Colin @ 9M is a great resource for the 993 community.

Did you do a Dyno run before the project to get a before/after compare?

Thanks for the interest guys. Yes I did a dyno before and was at 256 WHP and 252 Torque. Can't wait to see what it comes back at.

subscribed! killer build!! finally a beginning to end thread with the 9M parts...given the quality of the parts and the build, once tuned i'd expect the dyno numbers to be scary good.

I had the fan and fan shroud powder coated and also painted the engine shroud Polar Silver to match the car. The engine has been shipped to Rothsport Racing for Motec, Intake and tuning. I hope to have some dyno results soon.

You can definitely do a build for less and certainly for more too but a lessor build may not be this extreme. I wanted the best parts and wanted to make sure it was going to hold up on the track and last a long time. I also have a Motec system and Rothsport intake I'm adding to this. I will post dyno results within the next 3 weeks after the tune.
Bout what i expected. You can do a build like this for 30-40 for the core mechanialcs. BUT. that is going to skip on the electronics, and the induction. Gotta make it breathe and run right. Rothsport induction if you are doing gt3 intake and ITb is $$$$$. Of course gt3 cranks, oil pumps, billet heads, crazy labor in build ad setup....

gonna be awesome. Love to see what it does on gamroths dyno.

Looks really nice. Surprised they did not delete the PS pump and use the 996 Cup electric setup. ( I did this to my 993 setup and it has been very reliable). I like added paint on the shroud definitely makes it look really clean.
