Default Titanium Air-Cooled Lugs Nuts w/ Options

We are still selling our standard closed air-cooled titanium lug nuts which are in the raw finish and have been very popular with 993 owners but we have now added some new options to our titanium lug nuts.
These are priced at $260.00 for a set and free shipping within the United States. We also charge a flat rate for International shipping of $80.00 to anywhere in the world.

We now have them available in a black finish just like the factory aluminum ones. Now you can have a factory looking lug nut that is still lightweight like the OEM Porsche nuts but they are a lot more durable due to the fact that they are made using grade 5 (6AL4V) titanium.
These are priced at $320.00 for a set and free shipping within the United States. We also charge a flat rate for International shipping of $80.00 to anywhere in the world.

We also now have them available with the Porsche crest on them in the raw titanium finish. We purchased a very high end laser machine that can etch the complete Porsche crest on the top of the lug nut and keep all the detail of the Porsche crest.
These are priced at $380.00 for a set and free shipping within the United States. We also charge a flat rate for International shipping of $80.00 to anywhere in the world.

I will be adding photos to our e-commerce web site page in the next couple of days but they can be ordered now on our website.

Craig @ World Motorsports is great! Service impeccable!

I ordered the black version of these lug nuts. They didn't have pictures to send me so I thought i'd post a pic for you guys to see.
Awesome product. I was on my 2nd set of factory aluminum lug nuts... Almost a 3rd set till I found these! They are probably going to be the last set I ever buy

So you can still see the bluing on them even though they’ve been coated.

Do the black ones now come in a 60 degree cone seat for BBS LM wheels? Earlier this year, that option was only available in silver. I'd prefer for the lug nuts to disappear in my LMs rather than pop because they're silver.

What was the problem with the originals? Mine are 110,000 km now.

There nothing wrong with them other than they get easily beat up every time you change wheels and start looking pretty rough. These (and others) are more durable and retain a fresh look after many changes.

From having the wheels on and off and being torqued down. The Aluminum threads have been worn. Could also be from wheel shops or the mechanic using impact guns on them.

Thank you very much.

Yes, you can still see that. We tried many different ways of coating these black and most of them did not hold up very well. THE DLC coating (which is the highest standard I knew available) did ok, but the process we are using now blew that away too. It is done by OE car manufacturers on internal engine parts now and is used to lower friction and heat in the engine (it happens to work really well for this too). We have had them out on cars for a little over a year now and have had incredibly good feedback.

Yes, they are exact copies of the Porsche factory lug nuts.

I will have pics next week. The machine is really incredible because you can see all the details in the Porsche crest on such a small surface area.

I do not have the black ones in the 60 degree seat yet. I do not sell a lot of the 60 degree seat lugs yet and I have to send a large volume of nuts to the coater in order to try and make it profitable.

Congrats on 20 years of ownership.

The aluminum ones do get worn out fairly quickly. The Porsche factory lug nuts are not even legal to be used at PCA events, the PCA has approved our titanium lugs for use at the racing events.

This is the common problem.

Hmm, and for this, you pay three times as much?

There are wheel lugnut sockets that have nylon inserts to protect the lugnuts from marring...

To Staff @ World; are the lugnut threads, cut or rolled?

TIA

Okay, thanks. With all of the BBS LMs out there, I'm surprised the market for black lugs is perceived as limited, especially since you have them in the raw finish. Black is the way to go for my silver LMs.
