Porsche MY 2002 996 18" wheels, perfect fit, and easy to clean. They are made for Porsche by BBS, and they are about as light a Turbo Hollow spokes.

What about Volk TE37 super light, the price ain't bad. Custom colors if you want.

Viken, In "excellence" one of their monthly advertisers has a picture of a 993 with them. I thought they looked pretty cool ....that's just me.

I also like the Kinesis Supercups but do not like the look of the 17" face on a 18" wheel. I prefer the reverse lip look with a 19" face on a 18" wheel like the HRE's.

Here's another interesting, 3-piece modular, forged wheel:

www.iforged.com

These are lighter than the Simmons (cast center), and would cost me around $3000 for 18x8.5 and 18x11 with gold centers. There is a local showroom (Hollywood, CA), so I'll try to take a look at these in person. They have several styles to choose from... I like the Swift and the Seneka, but that's just me. They look a lot like HRE, with the reverse lip and all. Anybody know about these wheels?

Anyone out there using the BBS LM Gold wheels? I saw them on the TPC car shown in the September 2001 Excellence article on suberchargers but have not been able to find a supplier.

I really like the MY2002 18" wheels - they show off the brake calipers and drilled rotors, look lightweight and spidery, and are extraordinarily easy to keep clean. The spaces between the spokes are so large it is easy to keep the inside of the wheel clean too, something I never even considered attempting to do with other wheels.

I also think they flow well with the rest of the car, complementing the 993's curves without being a distraction.

However,
"De gustibus, non disputandum est"

Edit: I just realized you are wanting wheels for an "S" car, which is a wide body. I don't think the offset for the MY2002 Carrera 18" wheels is correct for the wide bodies.

Thumbs up

The best wheels for a 993 would be 18" Fuchs, if they made them!!!!

a few months back someone had photoshopped a set of 18" Fuch onto either a 993 or a 964 Speedster...I thought it looked very cool!
