Default Reviving 993 WTB: Narrow body Rear bumper + Carrera RS Tail

Looking to fix my 993 as it was involved in an accident

Need a 993 rear bumper narrow body

I can’t seem to find a budget minded enthusiast priced bumper.
I'm usually the one who find this stuff lol

I’d prefer a black one or something close, so it doesn’t show if it ever chips

The decklid was also damaged in the accident.
Decided it would be cheaper to put a fiberglass lid and a RS tail vs adding the heavy/expensive 993 spoiler tail that I’m not a huge fan of

In addition I have a perfect 1995 993 Black Decklid assembly that I would trade directly for a black (no need to paint) 993RS tail and Decklid

But don’t mind pay $ for it.

If someone has a carrera RS type tail laying around let me know

before I pull the trigger on a better bodies version.

I’m located in Los Angeles so I would like to not ship the bumper if possible (unless inexpenve)

tail I don’t mind shipping

I also have a ton of stuff to trade check out my Instagram account: Efrenporsche

very much appreciate the help, I’m close to getting it back on the road
will post progress here

What happened to the car? It looks like someone dropped a grand piano on it.

I have a NB rear bumper - in prime, ready to paint your color. But I am in Princeton, NJ. Let me know if you are interested and we can try and figure out a solution. The bumper was scratched in a parking scrape, and professionally refurbished.

Took it all apart today

Individually bagged all the parts section by section.
Here are more close up photos of the damage.
It’s not so bad it’s mostly cosmetic damage, I was told it was stationary when a truck backed into it.
Then it looks like a tow truck did most of the damage to bumper towing it away.

I appreciate the response
waiting to go get that tail tomorrow morning.
I’m not convinced on the turbo tail, but the decklid would be amazing to get the project going.

Tomorrow I’m removing the rear interior and the glass
will update photos of that progress as well.
Then off it goes to my friends repair shop.

Ouch - did it drive OK after the damage as the rear 1/4 of the unibody may have been involved?

Was suppose to get the car finished today but after doing the rear interior removed I had to go pick up a lot of parts.

In addition, big thanks to eagle eye in the sky akrca4 who told me about a local craigslist ad for a 993 Decklid and 993 turbo tail in black
Will post photos of the tail tomorrow
Picked those both up for $300 (score

Got the interior complete taken apart. All items bagged and tagged ready for reassembly.

i was told by my body guy they could cut the quarter panel off and fix it with a English wheel
if that doesn’t work out then maybe I will go with that or another similar quarter panel

very much appreciate all the help guys.
tomorrow I will finalize the rear glass removal then it ahoukd
be off to the body shop.

Halo 993

Almost there:

Today I covered the interior in plastic to protect the carpet/panels from body shop dust ala OCD,
Not done tape sealing corners but it was enough to remove rear glass.
The big chunks came out easy enough as well as the 3rd brake light. ( Won’t be rocking the 3rd Brake Light) replacement glass removed from 1995.

The last 993 rear glass I took off was not broken so I was able to use usual methods ( wire method)

This one being shattered went fast using a gas torch + a glowing red heated spachula

In addition I also tested the Decklid I found on Craigslist (not attached to hinges)

The next step is

- Taping the platic wrap wrap
- Power washing internal quarter panel to make cutting welding easier
- Power wash engine bay
- Cleaning the rear glass area ( may do this after to prevent sitting rust)

Still looking for the a Carrera RS Tail
