Default Difference in rocker arms

What is the difference? One is more stout than the other. When did Porsche change the design.

Are you sure they are for the same application as they are marked with different numbers and seem to have different profiles?
Not sure it really matters how heavy duty one looks as rocker castings tend to not fail from cracking.

Same parts, different vendor. I have read where people had up to three different rocker arms in their car.

With rocker arms, Porsche added feature on the top to help identify an intake or exhaust. I have included a exhaust arm.

The exhaust is flat and the intake has a drilled feature on top.

The photo provided in post #1, is definitely not a good comparison photo, as the rockers should be side by side, and both completely within the photo.

Aside of the obvious part number differences, the leftmost rocker appears to contain significantly more porosity within the parent material.

Post # 3 is a much better comparison photograph; however, the wording seems confusing to me, and makes me think you are comparing an intake with an exhaust rocker...
