The C4 comps are apples to oranges IMO. Get a proper PPI from an expert to determine the source of the oil leaks. No one can say the car needs a top end until then. It might just be a gasket. Real life example I have 50k miles on my rebuilt motor and a minor oil leak because my builder stopped 2 steps from the bottom so to speak so that gasket was left and ultimately dried out. Just for why not we did a leak down recently and all cylinders are at 4% or less. So a small nuisance to me that’s barely noticeable (use is less than 1qt between 5k changes). One thing for sure your factory LSD is long toasted.

If your gut tells you this is your car then the price is the price.

My two cents.

If you like the car than negotiate to get for the right price. PPI is good ammo for negotiation. Good luck! I am partial to black on black and did a nationwide search for mine at the time....found it with 29k miles.

Hmm, while I don't doubt the chart, I might question whether our 20yr old cars really have that low of mileage. I mean, drive a car 5-7ku per year and you are well north of 100,000 miles.

I'm at 155,000 miles and I'm in great shape. I guess if I found a super clean and well maintained "driver" vs a car that just did 2,000 per year, I would jump on it.
