Question Heat cycle limits - Michelin Pilot Sport

I have read much about heat cycling on this site & how some tires have a limited number of time that they can do that before they get hard & lose their life. I am running Michelin Pilot Sport (not dot slicks) with the v grove tread. My question is are they limited by the number of heat cycles as well & how many??

I'll post why I ask in another post later

ALL tires degrade from heat cycles and will lose grip as a result. The question is whether the tread goes first giving a clear indication that new tires are needed, or whether they lose their effectiveness with "usable" tread left. I don't know a specific answer for your tires, & given the variables, I doubt there's a magic number. Are you asking because your not yet worn out tires have gotten greasy?

Yep!! While out on the track today it felt like I was in the marbles all day!! I spun twice during the same session & I have never spun (in this car) before!! I was no where near pushing it

Mine too. Save them for the street and get yourself some track tires.
