Its in Canada where I think its legal to drive.

Nice, you should go check it out...maybe you can trade your house for it hehehehe. Man, I"d love to have that car here in the states, but I couldn't bear to only drive it 2500 miles a year with that "historical significance" or whatever they call it registration. Oh yeah, and there's that other thing, THE PRICE! Still one of the greatest Porsches ever built, it's worth only what a buyer is willing to pay for it.

Silver,

Thats one thing which is actualy cheaper in the UK then! Here they cost about £100,000 = US$160,000.

Cool car, but the fact that just having the ditribuitor replaced would cost £1200 puts me slightly off!

I've seen some bad conversions in my time and this is one that ranks up there. So much for trying to preserve the 959 factory look. I wonder why people do this sometimes. If not done correctly ( read, at considerable expense, rivaling actually buying the real thing ) you end up with a bastardized nightmare that only a mother could love.
