Check new tires post mounting?
With the help of a great indy shop here in town I've just discovered that 1 out of the 4 "new" tires mounted last year on my 993 is different. I never thought to check but low and behold there's 3 Conti DWS 06's and 1 Conti RX. WTF, right?
I've never even thought of checking my others cars but it's got me interested.
I'm sure it's not a problem to fix the problem but thought I'd just share. Anyone else ever experience this? Ever checked?
Crazy heh?

Three Wheelin'
That is very strange. I've never experienced it but I always know exactly what tires are on my car and exactly what pressure they are at before each drive. I'm a nerd like that.

I had one Conti DWS that was significantly older than the rest. One thing to check, especially in the 17" sizes is the date codes when you get new. I bought a new set of Michelin PS2s and apparently that is a slow moving tire, so be sure that you're getting fresh product... Discount Tire in the NW is pretty good at respecting that type of request.
