There was a wrecking yard in Tampa called Kempton Bros. that used to have a catalog with pictures of horrifically mangled Porsches, and the owner usually knew the stories behind the cars. Some of the worst ones weren't fatals; I remember a 911 that was supposedly hit by a train after being stuck in a crossing (owner escaped) and another that was just demolished by a cement truck that tipped over going around a corner too fast -- it was parked at the time. I imagine that owner got quite a surprise when he came back for his car.
