my new 993
I found this zenith blue 97 carrera in New Jersey. It just so happens i was on my way to New York from California to visit my wife. So when I was in New York I decided to go and test drive this beautiful car. It was the first 911 I test drove and it changed my life lol.

Thanks guys!! I'll be sure to get the alignment looked at Gonzilla
After owning 2 944's it was only a matter of time before i get an air-cooled Porsche. I did the usual research on the vin and carfax- she's a 6 speed with around 94k miles spending all it's life on the east coast. I got a ppi done on the car after test driving it and was told it was in tip top shape but the timing cover gasket has a leak. He thinks it's because the dealer had it sit and would not start it up frequently. From what I read on here changing those gaskets can be a pretty big task. It's nothing major so just gonna wait till i need something else done to the engine that requires me to really get deep in there. Another thing i've noticed is how loud the fuel pump is. Is this normal? I havent had time to really dig into the car but i have been driving it and wow...smile on my face evertime no joke it's crazy!

Congratz,
If it is not dripping on the floor or engine cover pan, if your car still has one, or on the exhaust causing burning oil smells It may not need to be addressed.
Many 993 spend their lives with a slightly oily case not a big deal.

Welcome, beautiful car. Once you ready to tackle the Timing chain gasket leak, check out my recent write-up. The job is not hard, but time-consuming.

Dude.. first time lucky. That's a gorgeous color. I have a 944 that my son and I built and I love it too... but the 993 takes the cake. Drive and enjoy!
