Kudos to Fikse!
Fikse rules! When I was last at the track, I lost one of my metal valve stem caps that came with my FM-10 wheels. Matt over at Fikse was generous enough to send over a complimentary set of four caps, even after I told him I was willing to pay for them. I know the caps aren't all that expensive, but it was still a very nice gesture for him to comp me.
This is not the first time I have heard of Fikse's outstanding customer service in action, the other two times for issues of cracking center sections that were replaced under warranty, despite the wheels having seen track duty. I hope Brand X and Brand Y that get a lot of airtime here are just as supportive to their customers.

Same here. PO kept getting the caps stolen. I think he told me they sent several pair on different occasions at no cost.
Mike W, hope you bought Fikse's for the TT.
No affiliation buy the way. Just thought I'd share a similar experience.

Anir - I do remember your positive experience with Fikse. It was one of the factors that lead me to them.
Chris - English mine good not. Language American hard and puzzling.
Robert - what's the story with your "aviator"?

Agree, Fikse is the best .They repalced the valve covers on my 993 (now Andy"s 993- Hi Andy!) many times and refused my offers to pay. I ordered Iforged vs Fikse for the TT since I got a great deal $$. I will spend the money saved on K24's. Mike W

There were four drivers, and pretty much bone-stock SCCA-approved spec racer ford. The ONLY mod we made for NASA's open class is cut a fuel filler door into the rear body piece to avoid having to pull the body during refueling. No dry-break system, no extra fuel cells, nothing. It was amazing we did that well considering what we could have done to develop the car.
I'm not done fussing with pictures, but here are some: http://www.houstontc.net/robert/srf/...ace/index.html

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Lights? Oh, man.
Essentially NO lights on the track. raining/cloudy at night, PITCH f@#% black. the front & rear straights were illuminated... thanks, guys. We had four tiny lights bolted on the nose, you can't see them in the avatar. Oh, and the mud was so thick across the track in places you couldn't see where the track stopped & the OTEs would begin.
But, I've toked from the crack pipe... I loved it!
