Turns out my timing was still not right. There are clear marks on my piston which appear to be valve contact marks along the cyl 1-3 bank This "rebuilt" motor has been a challenge, combined with my shortage of experience working on this motor. Cyl 5 also looks burnt which i suspect is attributed to clogged injector.

Is there someone on here kind enough for me to to purchase, rent, or borrow 993 cam timing tools from?

i will also be looking to purchase pistons and cylinders. I understand the rod bolts are the weak link on 993 motors and I would be interested in replacing/upgrading those as well. At the end of the day, I will be happy with a reliable 993 motor with factory power levels, not looking for anything more than that.
