Hi,

I purchased a replacement sunroof rocker switch for my 1996 993. Can anyone point me in the direction of a DIY/How To article with pics on how to replace the switch. I'd hate to mess up the plastic molding attempting to take off the console myself.

Without going to look at my car, the section or bank of switches that includes the one you want, just pulls out. It's got a couple catches that may be brittle, so pull it out carefully. You have to pull the bottom one out first. Then you can disconnect the switch wires & pop the switch out.
