Default led parking lights

Some years back I mounted some led lights which I got from Gert to replace my fog lights. However, they are really small and weak. Does anyone know where you can order some good led lights? Thanks

That will be the 4W bulb inside the fog light.
7 years ago, that was modern LED technology :-).

Default Driving/parking leds

I modified the ones from Gert to give both driving and parking lights. Some fiddling with the fog circuit was required ref Canadian cars. The leds were driving off ebay and parking from Tore.

But that light is for the Turbo S scoop not for the standard 993.

If it's the std H3 for std fog, then the leds available work better as a driving lamp and don't illuminate the road very well. You can get Hids to work but it requires some modifying to the unit. I use 30watt leds in the Fogs on the 944 as driving lights with leds in the headlights but they are quite bulky and will not fit the 993 fog housing. If you fit Tore's Hids in the dip, fogs are superfluous.

Phil are you talking about the stock fog lights or the Turbo S ducts?

Actually stock fog lights. Would mount Turbo S ducts (had them, might still have them somewhere)....

Anybody have a photo with the leds turned on? (Gert's are small and weak...) Do not want them for illumination, just for daytime driving...

You need to buy the ones with the most leds in them then so they spread the light, the early ones where just a single pen light looking affair, something more like;

No need for error free, if you have the ducts spend the time on the panels as I posted above
